How can I obtain printed copies of exams?
Some people prefer to print a copy of practice tests on ExamBank, either to provide them with a reference if they want to review them again at a later date, or perhaps simply because they prefer to study with pen and paper. Consequently, we do not restrict you from doing so. However, since ExamBank is primarily intended as an online-based resource, we do not provide technical support for printing our exams other than what is mentioned here. In particular, depending on your web browser's configuration, some questions (and possibly diagrams) may be split between pages, as it is impossible to specify the location of page breaks in online web pages. With that said, everything should print fine with the exception of minor formatting issues as mentioned.
Any difficulty you have with your printer or communication between your computer and printer is yours to solve - there are simply too many factors for us to troubleshoot the problem for you. We strongly suggest that you first try printing a demo test (available by clicking on "Try a Demo" on the left) before doing so with your actual ExamBank account, as that way if you run into any problems it won't use up any of your credits. The demo test otherwise works exactly the same as the real practice tests on ExamBank, so if that works okay, the other tests should work fine as well.
To print an exam, just bring it up on your screen by logging in as if you are planning on doing it online. Then go to your web browser's "File" menu and choose "Print" - just as you would print any page. Since our tests are randomly generated and there is no way to go back to a previous test once it has disappeared from your computer screen, don't forget to print the answer key too immediately after the test has been printed! Just go to the bottom of the test, click on "Get Answer Key", and print the resulting page as well.
If you want a printed copy of a practice test, we strongly encourage you to do it yourself if possible. However, if you have no printer or access to one, we do offer a service to print and send practice tests to you by mail. The cost for this service is $5.00 + GST per test (regardless of length) for printing and shipping in addition to the regular cost of purchasing credits to set up an account to do so on your own. If this is something you wish, please contact us by phone - our number can be found by clicking on the last item in the list on this page.
